Okay, take Cinderella. Now put her in a futuristic, dystopian China. Now make her a cyborg. Throw in a crazy queen from the moon and a plot to overthrow the empire and you've got the gist.
I'll admit, I was scepticall, but this book hooks you in pretty quickly. If you're anything like me, you won't be able to wait to get your hands one the second one.
I'm currently on the second book, Scarlet, but I can't really do much on that one without giving away plot. :/ In short: Scarlet's grandmother goes missing and she enlists the help of a street fighter.
Welp, that's all for now. I'm off to the bookstore.
